Rebound

Greetings Everyone,

You have to give credit where credit is due. In the game of basketball credit has to be given to the great rebounders. We’ve all seen Michael Jordan’s commercial telling of all the shots he’s missed – but yet he is one of the all time great shooters.

Every time Jordan missed a shot somebody got the rebound. And one of the best rebounders of Jordan’s day was Denis Rodman. Jordan may have miss the shot but more than likely Rodman would be there to pick up the rebound.

In life we may not hit the mark every time but the important thing is to rebound. You may fall flat on your face but the important thing is to get back up. Greatness is made up of people who just wouldn’t quit. Don’t lay there, wallowing in the self-pity of your failures. Get up and try again, but this time ask God for help and you can rebound and make it. God will give you the strength to Get Back Up!

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.

Philippians 3:13 (NLT)
