Merry Christmas from Pastor Allen

Dear Friends,

I hope this letter finds you and your family in health and enjoying the celebration of our Savior ‘s birth. This is the only time of year when all across America and other parts of the world you can hear hymns playing at the malls, on television, and on the radio.

As I was walking through a store the other day, I heard the following words playing over the sound system. “God rest you merry gentlemen let nothing you dismay, remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day; to save us all from Satan’s power when we were gone astray, O tidings of comfort and joy. . .” Right there in the mall the gospel message was ringing out. To me that’s exciting, and it lets me know that every child of God should celebrate Christmas to the hilt.

Jesus’ birth becomes eclipsed with unrealistic demands of shopping, entertaining, and going in debt to buy gifts.  But as I see all the Christmas lights go on every night around the city, it reminds me that Jesus came to be the Light in a world darkened by sin.

My prayer is that you will have a blessed Christmas, enjoying family, friends and the presence of the Holy Spirit. I’m looking foreword with high expectations to what God is going to do at Praise Tabernacle in 2017.

I want to let you know that I am your friend and want to work together with you so that God’s kingdom advances by what we do. On behalf of my Molly and I we want to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas, and a blessed New Year.

Your Friend,

Pastor Allen
