Change – O Really?! How?

Change – O Really?! How?
by David Marquard

In my last post, I wrote regarding the need to accept change in your life. My question for today is, “How do you approach change successfully?” The first thing is our attitude. If we have a positive attitude toward change, we can implement it successfully and achieve great things for ourselves, for the world around us, and for God. It is only when we stubbornly resist change that success in life becomes difficult. You will never be who God wants you to be if you stubbornly cling to who you are!

Next is our focus. We need to keep our eyes on our goals that are before us. The Apostle Paul said that he pressed toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. When you have a goal to reach, change becomes easy.

Lastly, have faith that your God will take you through whatever changes are necessary for you to walk into your future. Jesus said that all things are possible to him that believes or, if you will, to him who has faith.

God has a great plan for your life! Every one of us has a destiny in Him. If you will give your life over to Him, he will take you on an incredible journey. Then when you have come to the end of your life, you will be able to look back with great peace and contentment knowing that, as the Apostle Paul said of himself, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Embrace change. Keep moving forward. Never give up. The best days of your life are yet to come!
